Welcome to the Model House web site.

We opened as a craft and design centre in 1989 and now receive about 35,000 visitors a year.

Along with an exhibition section in the Gallery which shows a varied and changing programme of contemporary craft . Model House also has studios where you can purchase work directly from the artists.

Join the Friends and help support Model House. Our weekly parent and toddler art & craft classes are growing in popularity, we have new classes starting throughout the year with two new 10 week courses starting on Wednesday mornings from 3 September 2008 at 10am - 11am and Friday afternoons from 5 September at 1pm - 2pm.
